Professional Biography

Victoria Bajek graduated with her M.S. in the Integrated Plant and Soil Sciences (IPSS) program and was an advisee of Dr. Rudolph. Her research within Dr. Rudolph's lab focused on the effect root-knot nematode has on vegetable cropping systems across the state of Kentucky. One project worked with Kentucky high tunnel growers to evaluate tomato grafting for root-knot nematode management. Victoria enjoyed visiting and working with vegetable growers during the on-farm trials and soil sampling. Victoria will soon be serving in Peace Corps Ghana after graduating with her M.S. and hopes to work on global food security in her future career.
