Rachel Rudolph, PhD

Professional Profile

Dr. Rachel Rudolph is an assistant professor in the department of Horticulture and the UK Extension Vegetable Specialist. Her responsibilities extend to market and commercial growers. She is based in Lexington, but her duties are statewide. Dr. Rudolph travels around the state visiting farms, advising on production methods or issues, and presenting to grower groups. Her research program is aimed at ensuring she is serving Kentucky growers and the specific challenges they face. Dr. Rudolph's current research interests include high tunnel management, soil quality, plant-parasitic nematode management, and plant nutrition and fertility.
